Paying the taxes
If a Box gets taxed and the intended receiver refuses to pay the fees, the package will sadly have be considered abandoned and no refund will be issued. In some rare cases, the package can't be abandoned and will be shipped back to us. We reserve the right to bill the customer for those extra fees. Once again, no refund will be issued. Therefore, if your order is being shipped to a country where it might be subject to being taxed, please inform the intended recipient that a Box is coming their way and that they might have a small fee to pay in order to take possession of it. Please note that for your convenience, we declare the lowest value legally possible on the goods we ship in order to keep the taxes to the lowest legally possible amount. We can't and we will never make a false declaration (fudging the price of the goods, not declaring every item, etc.), please do not even ask us to do so.
Unfortunately you can't pay the duty fees/taxes upfront when ordering.
We are trying to be as honest and straightforward as possible in order to help our customers avoid unpleasant surprises. Please be assured that we will always try to help our customers if a problem arises.
For further information or if you need any precision, please don't hesitate to contact us!
Non-recovery of the parcel by the recipient
If the intended recipient is absent at the time of the delivery, a notice will be left at his door with instructions on how to pick up his package (normally it will be available for pick up at the post office for 5 business days). After this delay, the package will be considered abandoned and no refund will be issued. In some rare cases, the parcel can't be abandoned and will be shipped back to us. We reserve the right to bill the customer for those extra fees. Once again, no refund will be issued and shipping would have to be paid again if reshipped.
